I love this song! Love listen when one of my students play this song. Such awesome melody. Thanks for such a song, Jennifer.

I love this song!! I love all of your music!! Keep writing this kind of music and you will definitely continue to have great success.

Very neat song! Very playable, sounds satisfying, and something both boys and girls will love. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to listen to it.

What a great piece! My students will be arguing over who gets to play it! I like the c minor key and the rhythmic pattern of the left hand.

End Game has a flowing style that is sure to appeal to romantics. It also generates feelings of excitement which will remind you of a “Galaxy type” adventure. This will work well as a rote song for very young children and also be satisfying for the budding teen!

Love the sound of this piece! Looking forward to teaching it!

I know my boys would love to add “End Game” to our ” Pseudo Name Recital” the last week of October. My students make up a stage name for the program and they perform music that sounds spooky and scary. It is always interesting to see them in Halloween costumes! We have tons of fun for this recital and are already working hard on the music.

This piece appeals to students and contains many opportunities to work on rhythmic flow, arpeggios, expression. the concepts of minor sounds and open fifths…I will use it with an older beginner who will love that that it is easier than it sounds!

Very nice…I know just who will play this first. Love the sound and the flow of the music. Great opportunity to teach balance between the hands.

I played two possible pieces for one of my students for our Halloween recital today, and she chose your End Game because “It is just beautiful.” I have had a hard time getting her excited about specific pieces unless she brings a piece she wants to work on, so I thought that was quite a compliment.

I downloaded it for a certain young grade 7 boy who loves hand over hand, does really well with patterns and enjoys songs that sound really hard, but aren’t. He cannot count to save his life however, and we are just beginning the dotted quarter note. Well this piece was just the thing, as I expected it would be! I played it for him and his eyes grew like saucers and he said..”well for a song like that, I could probably learn to count the dotted quarter..it is a deal” I am a happy piano teacher.!!

Love this piece! It’s easy to teach as the patterns are easily recognized. The student I gave my promo copy to was one who wasn’t feeling motivated to practice. She seemed excited to get this one and said she was going to play it a lot this week. Thank you!!

I gave this to a student on Monday …. actually she first noticed the title and was curious about it. Then I played it for her and she said “yes, I want it”. Then added “I can’t wait to start it!”
I’m excited for her too!

I gave this song to a student today at his lesson! It is just a fun song to play! He just loved it and wanted to know if he could learn it really fast. I told him we would talk about that later, just to learn it slow and carefully this week and get it even and with the correct notes. I got a surprise when he asked if there should be an “a tempo” in the measure near the end after the rit. I told him to put one in there if he would like. Thanks for all your music, you are a favorite of mine and my students!!

End Game has been added to my Pupil Saver list !!! It sounds so rich and full yet easier to play Must have for all of the studios !!

Just an update to my earlier review…
My student took this piece home and had it nearly learned the next week. She is horrible at rhythm because she refuses to count but I had taught ( and warned) her about the “tricky” rhythm. She came back with the rhythm absolutely perfect. She had counted out loud because she really likes this piece and wants to play it well!! She reads all these young adult fiction books & it seems to her to go right along with them.

Great piece for kids. Fun to play and listen to.

This song is fun to play, fun to listen to, and fun to teach. It’s so motivating to learn because it sounds so cool and it’s easier to play than it sounds. That is especially great for teens!

My students love the haunting quality of this piece and the hand crossing! We would love to have a few more pieces written in this style.

I gave this piece to a student of mine who never likes anything! What do you know. She shows up with the whole song learned in one week. I want more just like End Game!

I had a student looking for a “spooky” piece. She LOVES this!! It sounds very intricate, and she found it a lot easier to learn than she had anticipated.

The words from a student who was ready to quit, “I LOVE this music!” She is no longer ready to quit.

I purchased this piece because it sounds like the background for a movie yet written on a level that a younger student can impress. Well done.

Students enjoy perfecting their pedaling skills on this piece. Fun to play, it’s a tried and true student-saver!

Students have enjoyed the easier version and are now going to try this version!
