I gave this song to a student today at his lesson! It is just a fun song to play! He just loved it and wanted to know if he could learn it really fast. I told him we would talk about that later, just to learn it slow and carefully this week and get it even and with the correct notes. I got a surprise when he asked if there should be an “a tempo” in the measure near the end after the rit. I told him to put one in there if he would like. Thanks for all your music, you are a favorite of mine and my students!!

Just an update to my earlier review… My student took this piece home and had it nearly learned the next week. She is horrible at rhythm because she refuses to count but I had taught ( and warned) her about the “tricky” rhythm. She came back with the rhythm absolutely perfect. She had counted out loud because she really likes this piece and wants to play it well!! She reads all these young adult fiction books & it seems to her to go right along with them.

This song is fun to play, fun to listen to, and fun to teach. It’s so motivating to learn because it sounds so cool and it’s easier to play than it sounds. That is especially great for teens!

My students love the haunting quality of this piece and the hand crossing! We would love to have a few more pieces written in this style.

I purchased this piece because it sounds like the background for a movie yet written on a level that a younger student can impress. Well done.
