I recently gave this piece to one of my pre-teen students who struggles with practicing consistently. It is a little beyond her level, but I figured it would be a good challenge for a recital piece. I came back the next week - and she had already learned the entire piece. Correctly. NEVER HAPPENS!!! :-) I am thrilled as always with the music, and so are my students. Thank you!

In a recent lesson with a teenage student, we had been working on a different book, and playing through it was like pulling teeth! Then, I suggested that we play “Hold On” and her whole face lit up! It was amazing the transformation that occurred, not just in her playing, but in her whole being! We went from that to “Someday” and her bright mood continued! Thank you for writing music that transforms students!
