Alyssa was all set to play Beethoven's 5th Symphony and End Game at the recital. Then she came in for her lesson having learned Triple Threat on her own and asked if she could switch 5th Symphony to Triple Threat. She had learned it well and obviously loved playing it. How could I say no? It's just plain fun, and has technical work that students need without their even realizing it. Great piece!

This piece is fabulous to listen to and even more fun to play! It is a hit with young students, and sounds more difficult than it is, which is always a plus. The beautiful runs are the icing on the cake, and create some great, technical practice opportunities for students which they are willing to follow through with in order to complete the piece. Perfect from beginning to end!

Triple Threat is a BIG hit! Lots of fun triplet's and arpeggio's throughout. Combine this piece with Burgmuller's The Avalanche and Arabesque and you truly have a "Triple Threat!"

Students will be practicing technique, but not even knowing it because they will love this song! Changing fingers, triplets and arpeggios are the trifecta Jennifer Eklund has "threatened" us with in the fast paced piece.
