This duet is extremely catchy and every week I can’t wait, as a piano teacher, for my student who is working on the primo part to come to her lesson just so I can hear it live! Very fun to play for us both. This student is a level 2b in other methods and with a lot of skill practice, she’s been handling it very nicely. The improv part is a great teaching tool! This song is addicting!

This is such a fantastic piece! Everything about this duet is great, but I really like the opportunity it presents to explain careful counting while “feeling” the beat…the Latin rhythms make this so fun for my students–and me!
