I found this to be challenging to learn myself. Usually after hearing a recording only about 3 times I can play it. I'm not sure how I learned it but it became pleasing to my ears and I could play it. It is like giving myself a gift that keeps giving. Please keep up the good work Lisa!

You'll think you're listening to a music box when you play this charming Lisa Frederick miniature. Students of all ages will find balancing the counterpoint between the hands to be a fun and rewarding challenge. This piece will be going in my "recital savers" category: it's easy enough to be learned very quickly, so a late beginner or even an early intermediate student who has little time to practice can prepare this piece and play within just a couple of weeks. Don't even bother with the single license--you know you'll want to use this with your entire studio. (It's a great sightreading exercise for more advanced students: challenge them to play it with 100% musicianship the first time they read the piece!)
