This is a beautiful contemporary piece that 's great for early intermediate students. If you have students who suffer from "fear of flying"- are stuck in the middle of the keyboard and are afraid to take off- the patterns in this composition that move up an octave and back will help them "leave the nest". This is a wonderful recital piece, as well.

There is more than meets the eye in this little gem of a piece! I had one of my young teens play this recently in a recital. As she glanced at it the 1st time I believe she thought I had presented her with a "baby" piece but once she heard it she was immediately drawn in! She did a beautiful job playing it as well!
