Minuet in Gee! is a light-hearted ragtime spin on Beethoven’s classic Minuet in G. This solo, composed by Ron Levy, is ideal for intermediates of all ages. Cover photo is an original painting entitled “Dancers” by Carol Julien.

Long Goodbye is a sentimental contemporary piano solo by Lisa Frederick. Ideal for intermediates and maturing players of all ages, this heartfelt piece full of longing will serve as a great introduction to rubato and expressive playing.

This is a free-flowing piece with elements taken from the Scottish folk song ‘Mairi’s Wedding’ which then develop into a unique melody which pervades the rest of the work. It starts innocuously, with some off-beat chords in the left hand whilst the right plays the tune and develops into a more regularly metered, dance section. The wedding gains momentum and an element of Irish cheek is heard throughout. A lovely piece for all to enjoy.
