This is such a nice duet and a great choice for those preteen students wanting something more "mature" sounding! I had a daughter-father perform this at my last recital. It was a hit.

All of my students are playing duets for our next recital. I had an odd pair of beginners, a middle schooler and an elementary age student. I gave them this piece, and they BOTH love it! The younger played the RH part all week long, and is willing to try hands together solely so she can keep playing the RH. The older one came in to her next lesson raving about it, as well! So glad I could please two students with such an age difference between them with the same piece!
Anita
Beautiful duet! This is sure to be a studio favorite!

My 14 year old daughter has dabbled with the piano off and on in the past 4 years that I have taught but never was all that interested. I happened to start a studio incentive this summer and she wanted the prize so began practicing. When she finished Prelude (in less than 24 hours) I had the brilliant idea of finding a duet the two friends could do together. Glass Houses has been a huge hit. My daughter can. not. quit playing the secondo! These two go to church and school together and I hope they wow their peers some day soon! Thank you Amanda and Jennifer for this fabulous piece! More please!!
