Listen to “Midsummer Days” and a movie will roll through your imagination of those endless summer days when the sun shines and time is infinite - a nostalgic slo-mo of children and dogs running through flowered meadows, people bicycling along a tree-lined country lane, laughing friends splashing happily in swimming spots - all your best summer memories. Technically, it’s intermediate level with Latin touches of syncopation and and a breezy rhythm that invites you to almost hear a hand drum accompaniment. The developing melodies invite you to sing along. This would be a lovely summer project.
