This is a terrific piece! A student played it at the June recital, and the audience loved it. It's a real show stopper, and a great way to showcase a student who pays attention to rhythm.

Tug of War is an appealing piece with interesting rhythms that are fun to play. The bass uses intervals of fifths and sixths that are easy to learn. The piece begins in the key of d minor and modulates to the key of e minor. This is a wonderful piece that will be a studio favorite. I highly recommend this piece to all of your early intermediate students.

I gulped this down like a cold treat on a hot day! (it IS a hot day!) The rhythm is irresistibly driving and dynamic, and my students will love sounding brilliant. My shelves are rapidly filling up with Jennifer’s music and method books!

Perfect piece for intermediate students who need something fast and fun to play. Right up there with The Chase, End Game, and No Limits. Also fun for late intermediates who need something fun and fresh to play while they are working on harder pieces. Motivating!
