I had a student play this with her older brother playing the duet part. It gave her some helpful experience with syncopation. They both thought it was so fun. A very catchy tune!

Super cute duet. Students love it! It’s perfect to give to a beginning student as supplement material or to play with an older student as a sightreading/rhythm exercise during lessons. It’s also a very cheery addition to any recital.

I’m using this for my Duet Camps this summer. Such a cute song! Not only do my students love this–my husband can’t get the tune out of his head.

I love this duet and my students do too – they (and I) love the fact that it stays stuck in y our head after you play it. One of my students played it and after one attempt at playing a duet said – “we should do that for the recital” – recital is this Sunday -we’ve only had 2 practices together so far but we are going to do it!! I even had adults playing it.

You know it’s a hit when even the teacher hums this tune throughout the day. It has a natural rhythm with the lyrics and even though it has eighth notes and ties, it’s doable for early elementary level. Way to go Jennifer !! Another hit song in our studio.

Such a great little piece. I keep a copy on hand to have students sight-read & it brings joy to both of us when we play through the duets. I love that the teacher part is so much FUN to play and anything but *generic-sounding.* We love Piano Pronto!
