This book is great fun for all of my beginning students. We look at the playground picture and descide what we want to play on and then learn that song. It's so fun!

This is a wonderful collection to use for younger beginners and other early elementary level students! The patterns are easy to teach by rote in one lesson, and the arrangement between hands can be adapted as needed as well. There are enough note-reading clues on the student page that some landmark and intervallic reading on the staff can be introduced as appropriate as well. The duets make it even more fun. Highly recommended!

My young students love this book! It relates to their everyday experiences and they enjoy seeing the special musical touches on the "piano playground". As a teacher, I find each piece very easy to teach because pieces are so descriptive of the playground equipment. I have found many ways to use this book. I use it most often with 5 and 6 year old beginners to help teach keyboard layout, technique, and musicality. Great product!
