I bought this book several years ago and sort of forgot about it until this afternoon - a rainy Sunday. I sat down at the piano and played the entire book with enjoyment, discovering a few hidden gems along the way: terrific arrangements of the themes from Mozart's Piano Concertos Nos. 20 and 21, Fauré's Sicilienne, Grieg's Homesickness, and more. I also really loved Keep the Change (Eklund/Paulson) and a longer version of Scenic Route (which is in Spotlight Solos Plus). I think most of these pieces can be found in the upper level method books and Eklund's songbooks, but some were new to me! This is a great resource for more advanced students, teachers and hobbyists who need material for background music. It's a chunky book, but I printed mine out and bound it with comb-binding and will try not to forget I have it again!

The whole song book is wonderful, if your looking for an Ave Maria to play solo on the piano, don't miss this one. It is angelic to play and fits together. Your fingers just fly as if they were born to play this song. Thank you ..Jennifer
