Carnival of the Animals Music Discovery Curriculum
Written by Kris Skaletski
This series of fourteen 30-minute lessons is based on the collection of pieces by Camille Saint-Saëns. If you wish, add snacks, games, and activities to expand it into a daily, one-hour long camp. Your students will be tickled to use their ears and eyes as they learn about each of the animals represented in this work. With easy to incorporate theory components, piece-by-piece guided learning, coloring sheets, and suggested discussion topics and activities, the Carnival of the Animals series will engage, entertain, and educate your students. Ages 4–8.
