Printing - iPad

The following screenshots will walk you through printing your digital sheet music on Safari using an iPad. There are three different ways that you can start the printing process.

Option #1 - From Order Confirmation Email

Open the order confirmation email that arrives after placing your order. You will see a list of all the digital products you bought with an option to "Download", "Print", and "View". Press "Print" and then skip to step 2 below.


Option #2 - From My Digital Products

Find the product in "My Digital Products". If you need help , please read the "My Digital Products" tutorial. You will see the options to "View Online", "Download", and "Print". Press "Print" and then skip to step 2 below.


Option #3: From the Online Viewer

STEP 1:

Open the piece in the online viewer and click the print icon. If you need help, please read the Online Viewer tutorial.


STEP 2:

A new tab will open. If it does not, you may have pop-up blocking enabled. The recommended way to print on an iPad is using the "PDF" method. You can learn more about the difference by reading the "Image vs PDF" tutorial. Press "PDF".


STEP 3:

The file will open in your browser. Press the "Share" icon which may be either in the top-right area of the screen in the bottom toolbar.


STEP 4:

Find the print button and press it.


STEP 5:

The print dialog will open. You may choose your printer here and select options such as page range and double sided printing, if your printer supports it. Then press "Print".


STEP 6:

An alternative method is to print as "Image". You can learn more about the difference by reading the "Image vs PDF" tutorial.


STEP 7:

You may asked to confirm that you wish to continue printing with an iPad. While image printing works best on a desktop or laptop computer, you may not have any problems printing with iPad. Click OK to continue and if your computer does not print the file properly then please try again using a desktop or laptop computer.


STEP 8:

Your iPad will render the file for printing. This may take a few minutes so please be patient and do not close the tab while it is rendering.


STEP 9:

The print dialog will open. You may choose your printer here and select options such as page range and double sided printing, if your printer supports it. Then press "Print".
