This piece starts off with violins warming up to a hoedown barn dance, and the fun continues all the way through a scary middle part and back to a happy ending. Whew! Music by Lisa Frederick? Yes, please! (I'd say this is very early intermediate/late elementary.) Oh, and I recommend getting the whole book!

So much fun! My students will all want to play this one. I may need to order the studio pack!

Love that country hoedown feel with the jazzy flavor too! Lots of fun!

Harvest Time starts with an upbeat country hoedown mashed up with a jazzy bass line. Then the piece turns dark and stormy with plenty of dynamic contrast, but returns to the happy hoedown! It's a very cute number that offers something for everyone!
