I played several pieces for a student to give her a choice of a new piece. She liked this one the best, and she picked up that it changed from major to minor. It's a great teaching piece and is beautiful as well.

One of my student Sofia and I will be playing Winter Sky at our spring recital and she said it's perfect just like how smores all melt together. I currently have several students playing Winter Sky. It's such an enchanting melody, and the duet part is just lovely. It's also a great teaching piece for rhythm as well as balance between melody lines in each hand.

It is an enchanting melody which highlights the elegance of a snowy winter day. It will be a favorite recital piece. Adding the vocal part is an educational plus.
