Day 1 of Guilty as Charged being released, and I have played it several times, each time finding something new and delightful to like about it! I know a couple of students right now that I want to give this to in the fall when they return. They will be happy to have the opportunity to learn such a pop-ish, current piece! The title is misleading, because this piece is very upbeat. This is a very catchy tune and I recommend it for intermediate and advanced students of all ages. Jacki Alexander, Alexander Piano Studio

I listened to Jennifer’s recording and couldn’t wait to get a copy. I’ve played it several times now and have a few students in mind for it. I love that there’s a “surprise” just around each corner — just when you think you know what’s coming next, a sweet little nuance is added. I know my students will love it. Another win for Piano Pronto repertoire.

This is a very fun and catchy piece! I especially love the lyrics. They are so clever. I get this song stuck in my head all the time. I do wish that they lyrics were just a little bit larger font though. They can be a little hard to read while playing.

I am a piano teacher and this review was actually written by a former student of mine who took lessons for eight years. I knew she would just love Guilty As Charged and I purchased the e-copy for her. The catch was that she needed to write a review! Here is her review, in her own words: DeAnda, age 14: “The song, “Guilty As Charged” was a relatively hard song to play. It had a repeating pattern of the chords that made it a charming piece. I highly recommend this song to any who wishes for a fun, entertaining play.”
