This was such a great Christmas book for my beginning students to use. They loved playing the familiar carols and then I was able to add the duet in. It was great!

This book is excellent for that first year student who is wanting to play Christmas carols and needs the confidence of the note names in the note heads. A motivated student will learn the whole book even without teacher assistance! Be sure to get the teacher duets, too, they are golden!

I’ve been teaching from this book for years now & love how accessible it is for even my littlest learners. A lovely mix of tunes and having duet parts makes for very enjoyable lessons.

LOVE this book because I have many students still in the primer level and this is the way to go for them to be able to play Christmas music at our holiday recitals! I also like how the notes are larger than normal

I had several beginners this year that wanted to play Christmas music. Some of the material out on the market is really sub par compared to this. I was surprised to see how many of my beginners managed to easily get through the entire collection by the time they came back from Winter break! Thank you for including the little guys. The duets are so beautiful!

With so many beginner pupils this year they were all playing from this book as it was just perfect for playing by rote, brand new readers and even more advanced players who loved the teacher duets. It's an essential piece of kit for the holiday season.

I like that you can teach the songs by rote or by note - it's entirely left up to the teacher to decide what is best for the student.
