I love to hear Debbie Center play, and finally bought her book that has been on my personal wishlist. This book is so unique. I found it helpful that I knew what they sounded like and what the pieces were about, so I could play them and hear the chickadee or the loon, and our bird liked them and sang along too. I'm a nature lover, and this book just spoke to my soul. I personally would place these at late intermediate/early advanced due to key signatures, rhythms, notes, hand placement and stretches. It is helpful to watch the videos. Other favorite pieces are Paddling Under A Super Moon, Missing You Already (as a mom, I understand this one!), and this really super cool guitar piece, Recuerdos de la Alahambra.

A must have if you love Ms. Debbie Center's creative and pedagogical compositions. My three favorite solo pieces are: Recuerdos De La Alhambra, Paddling Under A Super Moon, and Luka's Lullaby.
