I love this book! I truly enjoy the information about Beethoven and his inspiration before every piece. This book offers a wonderful mix of beautiful music and great history - it's a win win all around! I will definitely strongly recommend this to my students that love Beethoven!

My middle school students who are looking for something different in a method book are very happy with this choice. They love the historical information and the pieces also.

This is a fantastic book for students to both learn history and great works of music at an achievable level! Love it!

A great collection for teaching music history hands-on. So often we teach history apart from the works of the composer, and there is disconnect from what we know about the composer and his works. In the collection, the connection is made more meaningful.

I love to use this book to introduce Beethoven to my students. I play a little of each song so they get a feel for what his music is like. The arrangements are accessible to the modern teenager but not so far off they might as well be from another composer. My students have really loved to play these songs ( especially Rage Over a Lost Penny). Worth having in your studio.

Love this collection of Beethoven music and history. I feature a composer in my studio each month and this has been of great value to me as I prepare to present the life and music of Beethoven.

This book is going to be fun with the great information added to the music to help students understand a little more why the piece was written and what it is about. Makes history come alive!

Another winner. I have used both this book and the Mozart one with students this year. Great tidbits about the composer and each piece that are interesting to the student as well. Practice guide is helpful also
