Aqua - Music by Jacki Alexander (
)
Aqua is a gently soothing piece with a controlled patterned harmony occurring in both hands. Composed by Jacki Alexander, this ambient solo is a great way to introduce students to the concept of rubato and work on expressive lyricism in their playing.

A student chose this song from the PP website. When she played it, I immediately thought I was in a spa. The music is soothing and is the perfect song to play or hear to relax. Excellent writing, Jacki! Upgrading to the studio license so more of my students (and their families) can enjoy it!

Beautiful song! I love the unique sound of Aqua. Well done!

My student and I absolutely enjoyed learning working on this piece this morning! It truly sounds like the sparkling, dancing sounds of water, and is absolutely gorgeous! It is also a great lesson in teaching timing, counting and rhythm, flow between the hands. Jacki thank you!

This is a beautiful peace, pleasing to the ear. The section on page 2 reminds me a little bit of some of the music in Pride and Prejudice.

Love love love this piece!. I originally bought it for myself but I realized it would work wonders for a student of mine who has been struggling to create connected phrases using 16th note counting. This was the key to his struggle. He could just feel how they were to flow through out this piece. What an awesome piece of music for student or teacher!

This piece paints a picture of tranquility as you play it. Such a beautiful, relaxing and unique piece of music.

I just bought this to play for myself. I can totally picture a lazy river-type situation :) Not that I can play and float at the same time . . .

What a bright cheerful melody that rings of happiness. Wonderful for a recital or performance of any kind. Keep it up!
