Rick Robertson holds a Bachelor’s degree in music with an emphasis in piano and voice. His finely-crafted piano music is featured on the National Federation of Music Clubs bulletin. In addition to teaching piano and composing, he is an avid record archivist and researcher, specializing in pianists active during the late–nineteenth and early–twentieth century.

Such a simple and sweet piece. Look to the Sky has so many wonderful options for teachers to use with their students. Played as a solo and it will be enjoyed. Add the duet part for some more flavor and then an optional violin or flute part can add even more texture. I may have to try this with my Indian flute. I can imagine how wonderful it would sound!

It seems to be a searching melancholy melody. It would be a wonderful Advent Song. It makes me wish I played the violin and flute.
